GRANADA
BHV Expo Groep from Wernhout in the Netherlands has built an impressive new festival structure: the Granada. With space for no less than 25,000 festivalgoers, this will be the place to celebrate under cover this summer! Festival Down The Rabbit Hole will have the premiere in 2025, and there is already strong interest from abroad. The tent stands 25 meters tall, spans 70 meters in width, and can extend up to 130 meters in length—a massive structure that was too large to be set up in Wernhout itself! That’s why the test build took place just across the border in Belgium.
What makes it truly special? In addition to having no obstructive pillars, ensuring an unobstructed view of the stage, the tent offers extensive rigging capacity and flexible open or enclosed configurations. This combination makes the Granada unique in the festival world.
BHV Expo brought the initial concept to life and then approached Tentech to support them in the development of the Granada. We further refined and optimized the design. Our team was responsible for defining the shape, structural design, profile determination, and detailed development—perfecting every aspect of the structure.
