THE RHINO
This tent by Firma Brandwacht has been named the RHINO. In 2023, the tent was put into use for the first time and at that time it was the largest decorative tent in the Netherlands with a floor around it. With a capacity for 3,500 people, it is suitable for large projects at festivals, among others. The floor adds atmosphere and intimacy to the space. In the same year, it performed at the sold-out Down The Rabbit Hole festival (see photos without canopy) and at music festival Lowlands (see (drone) photos with canopy).
MOJO initially came to Firma Brandwacht with the idea of this tent. And Firma Brandwacht in turn asked Tentech to help them think about the design. In addition, we helped them with the entire structural development. Among other things, we did the design calculations and detail calculations.
The RHINO has been given a typical ‘Firma Brandwacht-style’. This style is often characterised by their inventive designs and creative approach to tent structures. They strive to create unique and eye-catching tents that attract attention and create a special atmosphere. They also use natural materials, such as wood, rope and canvas. These materials contribute to an organic and artisanal look to their tents. The company also values sustainability and strives to use eco-friendly materials and construction methods. The company also regularly collaborates with artists, designers and architects to create unique and groundbreaking tent constructions. These collaborations contribute to the artistic and innovative look of their tents.
