TENTHOUSES
CapCabin, an innovative company located in the picturesque Odoorn in the province of Drenthe in the Netherlands, has developed a remarkable concept: sustainable Tenthouses with a contemporary design for the recreational market. These Tenthouses are more than just accommodations; they are fully insulated, equipped with triple glazing, and furnished with a complete kitchen and bathroom. Additionally, they feature a charming veranda, all covered under a sturdy tent canvas.
What truly sets these Tenthouses apart is the fact that they were constructed while still in the design and engineering phase. This is where Tentech came into play. We assisted the company by providing engineering expertise and working on the realization of the membrane structure for both the 2-person and 5-person Tenthouses. We not only created the cutting patterns but also performed the main calculations and were responsible for the detailed development of the 2-person Tenthouse.
Thanks to this collaboration between CapCabin and Tentech, these Tenthouses are not only sustainable and modern but also technically advanced and aesthetically appealing. They offer a unique experience for anyone seeking a comfortable stay in nature and contribute to a more environmentally friendly approach to recreation.
